ZHM Successfully Completes HUSAIN SAADAT Steel Structure Warehouse Project in Dubai

ZHM proudly announces the turnkey delivery of the HUSAIN SAADAT Steel Structure Warehouse Project in Dubai, UAE. This landmark facility covers 40,000 square meters across two storeys, setting a new benchmark for industrial storage solutions in the Gulf region.

Design & Engineering Excellence

Our in-house engineering team utilized advanced pre-engineered steel building (PEB) technology to create a heavy-duty, multi-tiered warehouse. The structural design incorporates hot-rolled H-beams, cold-formed C/Z purlins, and bracing systems to withstand Dubai’s harsh climate – extreme heat, sandstorms, and high wind loads. Seismic load resistance and wind uplift capacity were strictly calculated per international standards (AISC, MBMA).

Fabrication & Prefabrication

All steel components were prefabricated in our ISO-certified workshops using CNC cutting, automatic welding, and sandblasting for surface preparation. The anti-corrosion coating system (epoxy + polyurethane) ensures durability against coastal humidity. Bolted connections and modular frames enabled easy transport and rapid on-site assembly.

Second-Storey Mezzanine Design

The two-storey configuration maximizes land utilization. The mezzanine floor is supported by composite steel decking with shear connectors, providing a live load capacity of up to 15 kN/m². Upper level features integrated overhead crane rails and pallet racking interfaces, while the ground floor accommodates forklift circulation and loading dock bays.

Installation & Erection

Our certified erection team completed steel frame assembly using mobile cranes and mast climbers. High-strength friction grip bolts ensured precise alignment. The safety management system included fall arrest nets and rigging plans compliant with Dubai Municipality regulations. Total erection time: 14 weeks.

Commissioning & Testing

Post-installation, we conducted load testing on all floor slabs, non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical welds, and fireproofing spray verification. Lightning protection, electrical raceways, and HVAC support structures were integrated. The facility passed final handover inspection with zero defects.
